🌟 Good Gives Good at the Marshall Early Learning Center Open House 🌟

On August 20, 2025, Good Gives Good was proud to serve as a sponsor of the Marshall Early Learning Center Open House. The event brought together families, students, educators, and community partners for an inspiring evening of connection and learning in preparation for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Parents had the opportunity to tour the school, meet the staff/teachers, and explore educational resources and programs designed to support student success.

The open house included sponsors such as:

*The Bailey -Newsome Project which is a in house tutoring program that provides students with the opportunity to learn and grow their skills through learning.

*The HEAT Foundation, which focuses on single families and provides resources such as counseling and job opportunities.

*Newport News Child Nutrition Program which provides free breakfast and lunch to all students through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).

*Newport News Animal control- who promotes the importance of animal safety and brought along some cute furry friends!

*and lastly free haircuts for students and guests.

As a community-focused nonprofit, Good Gives Good was honored to connect with families, share information about our services, and demonstrate our commitment to building strong partnerships that uplift education, wellness, and opportunity.
