Doing Good Together

Hello
At Good Gives Good, we believe no one should face life’s hardships alone. In the Hampton Roads area, too many families struggle to meet their basic needs—whether it’s food on the table, clothes to wear, or access to mental health and job support. That’s where we step in.
With your support, we provide critical resources and pathways to independence for our community’s most vulnerable. Every contribution helps reduce suffering, restore dignity, and open doors to a brighter future.
Rooted in a legacy of selfless giving, Good Gives Good transforms compassion into action. Together with donors like you, we empower those facing hardship to build stability, achieve independence, and experience a better quality of life

Message from the Founder
They say you never know who’s watching—and growing up I watched my great grandmother constantly give, even when she herself was in need. My great grandmother, who we affectionately called Flossie, always led by her awesome example. In fact, she is the reason why I’m so inspired to start Good Gives Good. My grandmother always said, “When you see someone with a need, you help them. You never know who may have to bring you a glass of water one day.” Good Gives Good is a nonprofit organization located in the Hampton Roads area. We are a community-based organization striving to serve the needs of the people in various ways. Although we are still in the start-up phase, our goal is to provide a food pantry, clothes/shoes, job resources, and mental health support.
